Mary Ann received her Bachelors of Science in Physical Therapy graduating Cum Laude from Florida International University in 1999. She continued her education and graduated in 2000 with a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy. Mary Ann became a Certified Manual Therapist in 2003 through the University of St. Augustine. In 2007, further studies through American Physical Therapy Association resulted in Mary Ann becoming one of only 106 Certified Orthopedic Specialist in the State of Florida.
Mary Ann has extensive experience in outpatient and occupational medicine. She specializes in the treatment of cervical and back pain, as well as pre and post spinal surgical procedures. Her expertise involves the treatment of most orthopedic conditions including: herniated discs, sciatica, tennis elbow, carpal tunnel syndrome, rotator cuff dysfunction, adhesive capsulitis, muscle strains and sprains. Through her dedication to one-on-one quality care and utilization of biomechanical and anatomical principles, Mary Ann strives to assist patients in achieving their highest level of potential.
At Broward Spine Institute, Mary Ann is responsible for overall development and direction of Physical Therapy Department. She works closely with the practice to develop innovate and effective protocols. Coordinating care between physician, therapist and patient facilitates optimal recovery and positive outcomes. She has a firm commitment to providing quality are to help patients out of pain and back into action. |
